Aw-that's so cute! I was afraid poor Pip would be in trouble once he got home. I love the ending, it was adorable! Robin was so nice! Altogether a very cute story! Keep up the good work!

Author Reply: Thanks. Pippin was very lucky by meeting the right people and not getting much of a punishment when he came home :)

Ahh. I'm glad Pippin ended up safe and sound. Robin was very kind - and so were his neighbours, riding off in the evening to let Frodo (and Paladin) know. And possibly the cold and the bruises will be considered pretty much enough of a penalty. Typical childish logic - scary on my own, next time I'll take my cousin.

Author Reply: Thank you :)
Pippin was very lucky. Everything worked out in the end and he wasn't even punished (much).

Poor Paladin. At least Eglantine can hope he is safely at Bag End. It's just as well the Shire was such a safe environment, because Pippin is very trusting. I hope he's not lost for too long.

Author Reply: I guess that Pippin probably wouldn't be so trusting if the Shire wasn't so safe. The final chapter is coming up, so you'll know soon enough how long it'll take before Pippin is safe and sound again.
Thank you for your review :)

He forgot to pack food? So much for little Pippin's good day. The next cow that moos at him is liable to get a raspberry. It's fun watching him thinking and acting on his own at this age. His pride in his wooden horse's, "real," wollen mane is so endearing. His casual willingness to display his dirty paws after fibbing to Eglantine shows he's not afraid of her and that she's gentle with her children. In this little scene we see the makings of Pippin's carefree, confident, daring, qualities. And, maybe he gets his impulsiveness from his mother as she takes off leaving Pippin in nobody's charge. Ooops.
I hope there are many more chapters to come as I always do when I've read a good, first chapter.

Author Reply: Thank you, I'm glad you like my story. "Unfortunately" for you, there are only two more chapters. No food won't be his biggest problem either, but of course in the end nothing can dampen his spirit too much :)
