I loved this one, the by far not explored possibility of Boromir returning home and freely swearing himself to Aragorn to the astonishment of his younger brother. (-:

What lovely scenery - postWar Ithilien, posies and plants growing, and two of Middle-earth's most attractive males in the garden. I'm packing up my spade and watering can and heading out to Emyn Arnen as soon as possible!

Author Reply: Hi Raksha :)

Thank you! Hmm...yes, the sight of Faramir and Legolas in a garden...that would make me want to go out and get gardening myself! ;)

Glad you enjoyed the drabble and thanks for reading it! :D

Appropriate thoughts from both brothers. I can imagine the reverence in Boromir's eyes as he looks up to Aragorn - close enough to quarrel from their days on the quest, yet awed by his now larger than life presence. Perhaps a part of him also subconsciously sees Thorongil?

And Faramir - his face must be alight with pride for his brother's maturity, evolving into what he was born to be.

You can never go wrong with 'Boromir lives' :)

Author Reply: Hi! Sorry I took so long to get back to you...been away for a while :)

Yes, I envisioned a level of reverence on Boromir's part, had he lived to see Aragorn crowned...and how could Faramir be anything but proud of his brother? To see Boromir, son of Denethor embrace the newly restored line of kings and to embrace Aragorn.

I'm really glad you liked them :)

great bigger drable, in modern times, we have to watch out for kids running out in streets, in middle earth the elves have to watch out for little brothers running out into target areas.

Author Reply: Thanks grumpy :)

OH yes, and I can see a six year old Aragorn, with the attention span of a gnat, running straight into the middle of the target range.

That was a lovely drabble plus! I liked the banter between Legolas and the twins, and their love and concern for Estel. Very nice.

It started as a double drabble, then a triple, then quadruple and a half. Chatty Peredhel! ;-)Liz(Tanaqui) helped me trim it down to a quadruple and its still longer than I thought it would be. LOL Silly nuzguls.

I'm really glad you liked it! Thanks for taking the time to comment :)
