"Don't let go." How wonderful to see it here.

Ooooo, spooky. This is very good . . . in a shivery sort of way.

Actually, I very much admire the way you write. You do a great Frodo, Sam and Bilbo. You are definitely one of my favorite fic writers! Thanks for all the lovely stories.

Author Reply: Thanks for the encouragement! I needed it today. *g* And you're most welcome.

Two lovely stories - I loved the Deagol and Smeagol one (just like Merry and Pippin - horrible to think how That Ring destroyed them both.)

And Frodo and Sam - just gorgeous. Dear little Sam, apologising because he had memorised the poem. It would make Frodo determined that he would remember it - nothing like a bit of competition. I can just smell the orchard and hear the wasps buzzing among the windfalls.

Author Reply: I know; I intentionally wanted everyone to think of Merry and Pippin, though I made the age span the same as Frodo and Sam since I was trying for as close a parallel as possible in the two stories.

Appreciate the good words. Was having a hard day. (Didn't like the chapter of "Glisters" when I typed it in from the draft but posted it anyhow. Poor readers. It's really filler anyhow. Am having a bit of trouble with Merry's surgery so it might be a little while before we get to it unless there's a breakthrough.)

Thanks!
