I love this look through Elrond's eyes. How terrible it must be to have both of your sons in this predicament and you feeling at a loss at how to help them.

Author Reply: Elrond is such a fun character to write about, especially when it is about his relationship with his sons. Thanks for reviewing!

Beautiful! My favorite song! I'm listening to it now, in fact, and it's much more touching with the music playing.

Author Reply: LOL... that worked out nice then. Anyway, thank you very much for reviewing. I suppose beautiful is referring to the story...*wink* Thank you a lot for reviewing, I really appreciate it!

Sounds like this is shaping up to be a very angsty story. Maybe Elladan's close presence will help Elrohir to recover. This is a really great story and I can't wait for more.

Author Reply: First thanks for you wonderful comments. This is my first try at angst, so I am glad you say that it is fulfilling its purpose! I am sure Elladan will help Elrohir! They are, afterall, twins! Thanks for reviewing.-lilpippin

Yes, put the twins together - I'm surprised Elrond didn't think of that before, or that Elladan isn't at his twin's side in the first place. Tell Elladan he can't give up, Elrohir needs him!

I think this is the first story I've read where the twins' human blood makes them vulnerable to illness - it makes a refreshing change. Thanks for updating!

Author Reply: *tells Elladan* He says he wont! He promises. I have tried to change the outlook on how the twins react when they are hurt. This implies that Elrohir and Elladan have never really experienced any life-threatening events. If it was me, I would not know how ro act in this situation. I would probably try to blame someone and get angry. I kept the usual, Elladan gets angry at himself thing, but I have changed how most people portray him into one with more of a confused role. Does this make any sense? I also figured that since, they have not made their "choice" they would not be considered either of the races. I figure that if they have human blood, they can get sick. I imagine Elrond could still get sick if it was bad enough. Keep in mind I have nothing to prove this, it is merely and observation/ assumption that I made. I am also sure Elrond, would not want Elladan to spend all his time in Elrohir's room. I am sure he would want to protect his sons from death as much as he could. Elrond is also not all-knowing, he may be wise, but everyone is subject to mistakes. Thanks again for reviewing!-lilpippin
