| This is a quite a sweet and sexy story, although very sad because we know these two won't get a happy ending. There's so much great foreshadowing, like with the bit about Bilbo telling Frodo he needs to relax before the real work begins and Pearl's suggestion that being good is boring. I like how you subtly work in the future without giving the characters unbelievable foresight. The last part, with Frodo hearing the sea, is really quite sad as well and indicates the power of fate. This story gives a great look at what might of been, if the Ring hadn't ruined it. |
