| Excellent! What wonderful and heart-warming characterizations. I just realized you didn't include Gandalf and Aragorn in your story ... perhaps the world-travellers have no home to call their own? For everyone else your metaphor of the stars was wonderful in drawing out their differences and their similarities. I particularly liked the details of Gimli and Boromir's stories - the diviners and the lilies .. very rich imagining. | |

| Ah, Pip! I'll bet he kept things hopping all the way to the Black Gates! This was a great story...so typical of Pippin, of course, but it also showed Gimli, Boromir (I liked how even taciturn Boromir was drawn into this discussion), and Legolas quite well. Great stories about the constellation (esp. the Naughty Lass!!), and Legolas' and Gimli's slight thawing towards one another at the last was well done! Indeed, they are more alike than they can begin to imagine! linda | |

| 'Ah, a constellation," said Frodo, wiping the condescension from Legolas's face.' This made me laugh. Just because they're small, doesn't make them ignorant! And then, of course, Pippin goes into true hobbity, tweenagery earthiness and smut, despite Frodo's best efforts to keep him under control. Very good. Author Reply: Thank you!
