That was a bit of an instant decision on his part - but he was clearly determined enough and obsessive enough to get his way. And not pleasant when denied. But charismatic. Now why do those qualities sound so ominous? Oh yes - something to do with a few Silmarils.

| LOL! What a nutter! But I can see he could be charming. I love this - it's funny and cute (sorry, but it is.) 'You have a dimple' 'It cannot be helped. Will you marry me?' It made me giggle in girlish delight. But all the same, I think she would have done better not to change her mind; all the evidence was before her even at so tender an age. |
