Merry looked to her once more and stood, "No, Estella," taking her hand and pulling her up as she looked to him, he told her, "I think it is the first."

Oh that made me tear up~ that was lovely:)

Author Reply: I'm sorry about the tears ;) but thank you! It makes me very happy to know that someone felt such emotion while reading something of mine.

I was looking around for something new to read and came upon your story. I am very glad that I did. It was lovely. Your descriptions of Estella struggling to plant her little flower made me feel as if I stood beside her. I am glad that Merry was there for her instead.

Author Reply: Thank you, I remember when I was first about to post this here... I was hesistant and thought that maybe I shouldn't, but when along and did it anyway.

I am very glad I did, after all, I got such a wonderful reader as yourself in the bargain!

The thought to me of only one lone flower in the whole Shire is very saddening, but also very heartening, knowing that although evil swept the land, there was still some good that prevailed in the end. Sort of like what it was like before the Black Gate, all evil was there, yet a small resistance of good pulled through and changed everything in the end.

Thank you for reading this, and as always, thank you for your comments and compliments, I always am very grateful for you kind words! :)
