| You know, these remedies aren't *really* Pippin's fault,are they. Do I detect a pattern here of his female relatives coming up with these things to get back at him for his, shall we say, excess of creativity? [Evil Grin] I imagine a scene sometime in the future of members of the Fellowship confronting Pip's mother and sisters and aunts and so forth with a gleam of vengeful determination in their eyes. | Oh dear, Pippin is so.....helpful. lol, I was afraid Lily was some sort of animal or some such thing. Poor Gimli all that work and it wasn't what he thought it was at all! I guess maybe the adventure helped to cure his broken heart! Thank you for the laugh! | What a treat! There aren't nearly enough Pippin-Gimli scenes out there. I love Pippin's unshakable faith in the "cure", and I particularly love these lines: "We could use a thread from your cloak. Um, “Pippin concluded, “my cloak.” "I really think my broken heart is less painful than your cures." I can see Gimli chuckling over this whole thing later, and feeling much better.
