| Poor Estel, who can resist icing on a cake, they are lucky he did take the whole cake, I guess it would have been missed. Author Reply: But isn't the icing just the best part of the cake? Estel might have thought that no one would notice that he just wanted to sample the icing whether it is good enough for the guests ;-) | |

| This is a disaster with the inevitability of rain in April. Small boy, cake, icing, visitors = cake on floor, tipsy trifle and irritated adults. I rather imagine that small boys in large households are attracted to the kitchen like flies to jam, too. Good thing that Elrond is a very patient and long-suffering eld - and that his kitchen staff were probably trained by the twins to know what to expect. Author Reply: Thanks for the review.
