This is so beautiful. The description of emotions and the environment is so real and strikes to my heart so deep.

Oh God! I'm sitting here and tears are falling and my nose is running and I am grief-stricken.

Beautifully written. Was this ever nominated for the MEFA's? If not, I would dearly love to nominate it for this year. Please let me know.

“Dance with me brother,” he whispered as he lay back on the water, arms and legs outstretched.

And when he finally found his voice they had to lean in close to hear his whisper.

“He loved to dance!”

It was so difficult reading Tolkien with regards to Faramir - so much left unsaid. I knew there were depths of sorrow in Faramir over Boromir's death. You filled in the needs of my heart. I've sent the link to some friends who happen to love Boromir.

Thank you - and I'm so glad you wrote 'Out Of Memory And Time' for I never would have found this without it. And this is a richly rewarding, wondrous tale. Thank you again!

Thank you for your very kind and generous words.

Tolkien gave us so little about Faramir and Boromir but even from my first reading I always imagined that they would have a strong bond. . .and Faramir lost so many to the conflict!

There had to be a lingering grief, yes.

Almost overwhelming to read. An honest glimpse of how grief can follow a person and sneak up on them over and over after a loss, and it showed the great love the two had for each other in both book and film.

I'm really pleased that I have managed to capture these strong emotions.

dancing in water and poetry in prose.

Thanks.

Author Reply: The river was such a powerful symbol in Boramir's story that I wanted to continue the theme
Thank you for your lovely comments.

What a sad yet beautiful story. It really shows how much Farmir misses his beloved big brother. I like swimming being compared to dancing.

Who is it that came to get Faramir. Is there going to be another chapter or ssequel so we can see what happens next.

Thanks for writting

Jule

Author Reply: Thank you Jule,
No sequal planned, this is just a snap-shot, though I might include it in a longer story in the future!

I hadn't really decided who his rescuers were...probably Legolas or Imrahil.
