Culture clashes are very difficult - but Lothiriel must have known they would happen. Edoras is not Dol Amroth.

I'm glad she is making up with Eomer - and that he has softened somewhat towards her. He was being a bit rough!

I also want to know what this ceremony involves!! If they intend to make him blood brother to a Mearas, I can understand her doubts. If it's mare's milk - well, hey, it's only milk and Elfwine is six months now.

Author Reply: Thank you for reviewing, Bodkin. Yes Lothiriel was well aware of the culture difference when they were wed. But now she is a mother and has a babe to care for and to protect. Motherhood can alter our pespective on certain issues. Am already writing the next chapter. Eokat.

ah very nice. Romantic and passionate. I do like the way Lothiriel decides to trust Eomer. And I also like the nonsense she spouts to the baby.

I have to say, I loved nursing my son. It was the only time in my life I've ever felt able to totally satisfy someone else.

Author Reply: Thank you Daw, yes Lothiriel has realised she must trust him, and is deeply ashamed of her harsh words.

I have to agree with you, I loved nursing my son also. Eokat.

Still anxious and waiting to find out exactly what this rite is. At least now I know it has something to do with the horses, though I figured that in the first place. Please update soon. :)

Author Reply: Thank you Eomer. Yes you are on the right track. I am on with the next chapter, and I hope you will enjoy. Eokat.
