But what exactly is the rite of passage? I can imagine a great deal, but can say nothing for certain. And Eomer and Lothiriel seemed to work out their differences on the matter extremely quickly, especially for being such strong-willed people, and I don't even know what they are arguing about. But, this was pretty good.

Author Reply: Eomer, all will be revealed in good time..you will have to wait. Next chapter will be up soon. Eokat.

Looks like an excellent start to a great story! Can't wait to read more. it is nice to see tensions and stresses in the interactions. Too many writers get sucked into the lurruve story that they forget the reality that happens when the honeymoon is over. Applause to you. And I can't wait for the next chapter!

Author Reply: Thank you, Blue Iris, this is an idea that just would not go away.Eokat.

Ok. Now you've got me curious. What is this ceremony?

I can see there might be some difference between the two cultures. The Rohirrim have always seemed to be a rather rough culture, particularly compared to what I think of as refined Dol Amroth, with it elven blood.

Author Reply: Thank you, Daw, you are just going to have to wait and see!! And yes I agree, I do often think that Gondor oft times looked down on their rather rustic neighbours and allies. Eokat.
