Black Mountain  by White Wolf 4 Review(s)

Bad place to end it! Legolas is doing so well by getting loose from the tie to the wall, but these guards look like a different story. I was also interested in the speculation about what was causing the infection.

Author Reply: Oh shucks. I rather liked where I ended the chapter. :o) It's amazing what a wounded and sick elf can do, when he knows he's on the menu of his captors. Getting away will be another matter. I said the blood and bite would be significant. Legolas's fate may hinge on them.

thinking about the howlers were once men is a surprise. And I was wondering how they were so smart and able to do things like tying knots and stuff.

Author Reply: I'm glad you were surprised. I hate to be too predictable. I didn't want the howlers to be mindless creatures, who had nothing better to do than kill.

*claps* Very, very nice!

Ha! I was right! They *were* Men!! Yeesh, that bites. :P

That bite wound sounds absolutely disgusting! My poor baby better think of some way to get out of there!!! Easier said than done, unfortunately.

I hope to see some of A, E & E next chapter! Hopefully Aragorn doesn't have hypothermia yet! :D

Post soon!

Author Reply: Thank you.

Yes, you were right. Good for you.

It is disgusting. Getting out and getting away are two entirely different things. I can say no more on that subject. :o)

The three Rivendell brothers will indeed show up next chapter. Aragorn has his heavy cloak with him. I hope it does him some good.

More soon.

I'm not happy about this! How is the poor elf going to escape from the creepy creatures when he is coming down with potential gangrene! E2A need to get there and rescue him. Mind you, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't end up chained to the same wall.

And there must be MORE TO IT THAN THAT. Even if they fish him out there are going to be long-term problems from him having been creepy creature's lunch-time snack, I'm sure of it.

Author Reply: That's a very good question. I hope Aragorn brought his athelas, providing he even *finds* Legolas. We'll have to see whether or not E2A can avoid being captured.

Sure of it, are you? :o)
