Just noticed another typo in the story title. "Substitute" is missing the second "s".

You seem to have misspelled the story title. You forgot the final T in "substitute".

Author Reply: Thank you, Beruthiel!! :-) Would you believe that I backspaced over that sad sack of a word three times? And STILL got it wrong! I know how it's spelled--just too many T's for my liking for my near-sighted eyes, and set too close together! What was I thinking of when I chose that title??? Thank you for letting me know! I shall fix that error. Take care!

I guess they should have to know their teacher before trying to run her off! At least they decide not too, only things didn't go right! It is a lovely little series, this one and "Irrepressible Pippin". I also like the way you carry characters from your other stories over, like Degger. Thank you for such a fun tale!

Author Reply: Thank you, Hai Took! I'm grateful for your kindness and lovely reviews--from an excellent author herself! I loved "To Come Home"! To carry characters over from one story to another is part of my "universe"...the only AU part are Pippin's and Lilas' lives/storyline in Roses. Thanks for reading The Substitute, and reviewing it! :-)

Gotta review this one again. I just love this one! I love how you write Merry and Pippin together. I wouldn't mind if this turned into a series of stories about Pippin's education, with Merry of course. Also, I am interested to see how Degger and Pervinca will manage. Surely there is more? Oh, and by the way, the strawberry tarts sounded delicious. I love that your stories always include tasty food.

Author Reply: Oy, Grey Wonderer...your enthousiasm is infectious! I do love the IP tales, too! Until *you* said something, I had no idea that it was such a well loved story. I laugh, because once you told me to never get emotionally involved in O.C.s, but I do like Degger. He's like Pippin's own "Sam". Thank you for all your support and encouragement; they mean the world to me. :-) Take care!
