| Mizalaye! That was short, but sweet, well bittersweet, really. I think the notion that Legolas had a long-ago love that he lost in battle can ring quite true for the character. I've always wondered why Legolas had never found anyone. And your explanation for why he is as good as he is with a bow has a lovely poignancy to it. Did you read up in History of Middle Earth where it describes that those bound to each other usually find each other early in life and wear silver bands to symbolise their commitment.
