| That was beautiful! My sister and I were talking about this the other day, the little conversation between Gandalf and Pippin we find to be one of the most touching and you captured it wonderfully! Pippin getting to fight the troll was great, I felt that Pippin, maybe even more for Merry, had been a bit cheated in ROTK. You did a gread job of blending book with movie! Thank you! | |

| Hi There Yes!!.... I too was extremely dissappointed that Pippin didn't get to kill his troll in the movie as well....It was what I was most looking forward too...To see my brave Pip get his well deserved reward...Afterall Frodo and Sam had their Mount Doom ending....Merry had his Witchking moment....Even Aragorn got his Arwen (and a troll(no fair!!))....But then NO TROLL!! for Pip...What a travesty!!...I have been waiting for ages to see if someone would come up with a really good interpretation story of what may have happened between that scene (my favourite in the whole movie) with Gandalf and Pippin and the one with the Army of the Dead swarming the walls of Minas Tirith..... and this is it!!!...This is fantastic...I really love it.. Thank you so much....Now if only Peter Jackson could have come up with something like this... I would have been in even more thrall of the movie than I already am!! | |

| So very glad Pippin got his troll! I too, was disappointed in the movie not letting him kill a troll, although *maybe* in the EE? But I like your solution just fine. Beautifully done! | |

| Really nice piece of work... I like that pippin and Gandalph together fighting side by side. And tthat in his fear pipin fight bravely and defeats a troll.... Good work... | |
