Hi,
This is a really amazing story. The juxtaposition of his thirst for knowledge and the casual violence that permeates both his behaviour and the piece in general is chilling.
Thanks for the great read.

This is a great story! I have a website about Orcs called "Orc Magazine" located at www.orcmagazine.com
Could I please publish your story on my website? I can't pay you money - but I can give you full credit and a link back to a website of your choosing.
If you are interested - please email me at: webmaster@orcmagazine.com

I bow to thee, Werecat.

That said - what does it say of my own shallowness of spirit, if I admit this actually had me chuckling? What a perfect blend of the macabre and the humorous and the - dare I say it? Bizarre.

How I wish I had written it first.

Lindorien

Author Reply: Aw, thanks! That is so sweet.

Yes, macabre and bizarre; exactly what I was going for. Black humor is one of things I enjoy most.

Thanks again,
Werecat

um...woo?Never thought an orc capable of poetry(is that racist?)very nice about the poetry about his mum.Definitly a nice change-rah!

Author Reply: Thanks.

As my brother has often said, orcs are a greatly misunderstood race. However, since they were once elves, it's only logical to assume that some poetic tendency has survived in them.
