| Very well done! Just an observation: when I first read about Aragorn's "pruned" feet, I imagined a gardner snipping parts of his toes off. I presume you meant the wrinkly appearance that occurs when skin is immersed in water for long periods of time but it struck me as accidentally funny. | |

| Wow, this was really great! Light and funny, just what I needed. I must admit to being surprised at your wonderful writing ability. You did it with a sense of realism and you captured the spirits of the characters so beautifully. Pippin especially, was wonderfully fidgety and full of mischief and merriment. I think my favorite part is when Merry said at the beginning... "You’re going to –” A flash of lightning, followed quickly by a blast of thunder that trembled the earth, interrupted Merry, followed by the unmistakable first drops of rain. “…jinx us,” he finished in a weary voice." and then at the end... " “Pippin, stop that. You’re going to –“ “Ahhh! Frodo, noooo!” Squish! “…jinx us.”" That was truly hilarious! I laughed so hard at both these parts! This tied the whole thing together so nicely. And Legolas telling them to hurry and dress before Aragorn makes them a potion...that was great too! Awesome job! :) | |
