| This is a wonderful picture of Glorfindel of Gondolin, who has lived for so long and seen so much and yet has more to see. I can understand why he would sometimes miss his own people so sharply, even though the descendents of his king have been his people throughout the ages. Just lovely. Author Reply: Thank you! | |

| Very nicely done. I like your vision of Gondor in the Fourth Age! Your characters are believable and each has his/her own personality. I'd say more but am pressed for time. (as always) This line in particular made me chuckle, I could just "see" it: turned to see the queen handing over the well-wrapped Miriel to a nervous-looking guardsman Is there more to this story? It seems complete, but I think I noticed the "in progress" tag. Author Reply: Thank you for lovely review. Sorry it's taken so long to respond. I should fix that In Progress tag. Although I would like to write about Glorfindel and Mashara's trip to Harad, I'm not sure when it will happen. | |

| This is an interesting view of the Golden One (of whom I am an unashamed fangirl) and such a unique story to place him in Gondor. I like the comparisons and memories he has of Gondor to Gondolin, and of the geneaology of the descendents. His friendship with Mashara speaks to Glorfindel still being teachable, still open to learning new things. And I like the ending, the snowball fight and Glorfindel's clear affection for Estel, Arwen and their children. I hope he travels south and has new experiences there to keep him refershed and spirited.
