| Wow. Absolutely chilling! What's happened? This was awesome. I loved your powers of description, you conveyed clearly in one sentence what might have been in an act of complete overkill drawn out to three or four sentences, and even then not fully conveyed. One bit that particularly stood out was this: "Men and elves awoke slowly, blinking the sleep from their eyes and wondering what that sound was, or if there had been one at all." That one sentence told tells the reader the atmosphere of Rivendell and something about Celioril, who awakens and hastens to clear his mind. Wonderful prelude!
