Yada Yada Yada  by Baylor 11 Review(s)

This is hilarious! :)

I think might have read this before, it really amuses me greatly! Just like hobbits to get straight to the point and condense a meeting (or chapter) that takes hours into a few minutes. I use to say "blah, blah, blah" all the time. It really annoyed my parents :) Thanks for the laugh!

This is one of the best fic(let)s I've read. Ever. In any fandom. Humour doesn't usually suit me as a genre, but this is great! The nonchalant attitudes...!

I have looked this up and read it several times before committing myself to a review. I think that is because I just have to check and see each time if you really managed to pull this off. And you did. Unquestionably. I can just see Legolas' confusion over the 'blah, blah, blah,' and the hobbits' matter-of-factness, more interested in food than in perfectly obvious facts. This delightfully quirky ficlet is genuinely funny, because you have manged to combine modern-day Americanism with ages-ago Middle-earth, and the melding is seamless and oh-so-reasonable...

good short story, you could make it longer perhaps? id like to know what else could be explained by blah blah blah... it would make it all make more sence, lol, good reading! Thankyou.

This was great! I love the blah blah...*sighs*

Oh lord. I loved this one. Just burst out laughing fit to bust in the middle of the office and everyone just looked at me. Your little piece made a nice change from all the serious pieces where they're either dealing with death and depair in Arda or the doom of the Elves everywhere else. Too much doom, gloom and despair!

Thanks for lightening the environment and bringing a touch of the 'Seinfelds' to Middle Earth!

Regards

Too funny! So like hobbits to cut out the boring parts and get to what matters. Enjoyed this very much!

now that is a Baylor story if I have ever read one.. and quite delightful. (grin) and it also made my evening .. there is a big smile on my face.. thank you Baylor my dear.. I just love how you write the hobbits.. and yes the others as well .. poor Legolas .. quite excitable isn't he..

Thank you! I came upon this during a sorely-needed break from work and it was just what I needed. "Best leave Frodo behind then" nearly caused the dreaded keyboard/coffee incident.
Definitely OOC to good purpose here.
