Jay's Drabblets  by Jay of Lasgalen 10 Review(s)

Now, does their constant provocation overcome their lovability as brothers? Well, at least they've left Estel with a laugh. And a bill. I'm sure he'll get his own back - after all, they are brothers!

Didn't I say they're only seldom nice? That was not nice, not at all. Maybe Estel should try the same next time and disappear during the night, leaving his bill for them to pay ;-)

Author Reply: *Grin* Like I said before - they are nice! They just tend to tease him ...

Hmm - Estel disappearing in the night - yes, I can see him trying that ... Thanks for the idea! (*evil grin*)

ROTFLMAO - this was a perfect ending... but I do find myself feeling a little melancholy that such a delightful little set of vignettes is finished. *sigh*

Author Reply: This 'set' started out as a single drabble - but the twins just wouldn't stop their teasing! I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I did writing it.

Don't worry - I have the feeling that Aragorn will try to get his revenge on the twins one day, but will he succeed?

A perfect ending to a perfect little snippet. That was just perfect, probably because like Estel, my sister invited me to a day of beauty at a salon for my birthday... and then asked to borrow $75.00 bucks to pay the bill. **sigh**
siblings, gotta love 'em

Author Reply: *Grin* Poor Estel, he'll never outwit his brothers! I like the story about your sister - siblings are the same everywhere!

Poor Estel, outwitted once more by the twins, stuck with the bill, they can be very annoying older brothers. Estel should have sold their horses from underneath them.

Author Reply: He'll never win, will he? Though that's a good idea about the horses ...

The BRATS! I swear! Now he really has to get them back! Oh, dear, this was unexpected! Elrond--discipline your sons! Heh!

Author Reply: Unexpected? No, Aragorn knows his brothers far too well. He knew they'd get the last word somehow. And Elrond will probably laugh his socks off when he learns of this!

Ooooooooh, bad twins! naughty twins! tsk. tsk. poor estel once again...

Author Reply: *Grin* Poor Estel indeed! But it's not as bad as it seems - the twins went through his bags while he was bathing to make certain he had the money :>)

hahahahahaha! I love it! Best ending you could think of. Love ya, Neilia

Author Reply: I actually wrote that ending before some of the other drabbles were finished. It just felt right :>)

Thanks for the review!

That has to be the best of the drabbles so far! Loved it! I've always pictured the twins as having a great sense of humor, especially in teasing their little brother!

Keep those drabbles coming! Although I would like to see Legolas enter at least one and help Aragorn get back at them!

Author Reply: Thanks! Although this particular series of drabbles has ended (and it was only supposed to be one to start with!) there will be more, don't worry.

Will Aragorn ever get his own back? Somehow I doubt it ...

I really enjoyed this little series, Jay. It's full of such warmth and I love the teasing and fond exasperation. That last line made me laugh out loud - what a perfect ending!

Author Reply: Thanks, Dot! I've had tremendous fun writing these, even though I really should be concentrating on other things ...

I'm glad you liked the ending - all the fluff and sweetnesss couldn't continue, could it?
