| I'm writing an Arwen story at the moment. (Along with about four others, which is why none of them are progressing very fast.) I've just finished a bit with her loving brothers! They are very fond of each other! Author Reply: I look forwrd to that - I love your take on the twins! | |

| 'They both hugged her, smearing her with mud, and she broke into a reluctant smile.' Brothers! Who would have them? And who, having them, would be without them? I hope she wasn't wearing anything very special just at that moment. It's good to see happy Arwen - so much of her final Aragorn period is tinged with loss and the awareness of more loss to come, that it's easy to forget the two and a half thousand years (give or take a few centuries) of happiness. Author Reply: Well, I wouldn't mind brothers like that! (I think ...) Bearing in mind that this is her begetting day, she may well have been wearing her best dress - not that that would have made any difference to the twins. I don't write much Arwen, but I do like to write about her with her brothers sometimes. I think they'd all have been very close. | |

| Oh, how very male of them to not realize that they were covered with mud. I can just see this happening. Author Reply: I suspect that the twins knew perfectly well that they were covered in mud! But she's their little sister, so they hug her anyway. | |

| This was very sweet. Poor Arwen. I imagine she would have had exactly these type of experiences with brothers like those. :) Author Reply: Yes, poor Arwen! The twins nearly missed her begetting day - but the point is, they did get there in time - just. | |
