The King Comes Home  by Morwen Tindomerel 2 Review(s)
TabbyReviewed Chapter: 18 on 5/27/2018
Ah, a beautiful story! I adore the cultural differences between north and south and the fact that there still is a culture in the north and not just wild people that know nothing of their past.

I always thought that it would come to bad blood between south and north because really? Each of them have their own traditions and Aragorn needs to be mindful of both but far more with the south than the north. The north is already his realm but even as Gondor accepted him, his kingship is new and kinda shaky. You showed this and his decision, his need to be in Gondor and not in the north shows this conflict and the coming conflicts between the two realms. I think and hope that the north will not be quiet about it. He's their king after all. They were with him and the south has no right to take him from them like that, to force his hand like that. So yes, they'll be unhappy with Aragorn but they'll understand the reasons, the possible ramifications, the need for it and they will be far more unhappy with Gondor. Because how DARE they. I don't want bashing but that differences and old wounds clash.

Good work~

I am enjoying this story and would like to read its conclusion, do you know when you might complete it? :-)

Author Reply: Whoops I was mistaken. This is the end - not a very good one I agree but it had to stop somewhere. Sorry.
