| This is a nice beginning, Wyndhamfan. It's quite well-written. If I guess your intention correctly, you are doing the scenes that led up to the TTT EE film scene that showed Faramir and Boromir celebrating a bittersweet victory over Gondor's enemies. I haven't been on Stories of Arda much the past few years, so I am grateful to read a new story of Denethor's family. Keep it up, wherever you plan to take it. | |

| Wow. That's all I have to say. What a wonderful story you have here. I love how you interepted the family dynamics and the way Denethor would respond to Faramir's 'prophecy dreams.' And the fact that Faramir dreamed about his mother's death has a nice touch. I also liked the way you made the orcs attack the crops of Minas Tirith. It would be very devasting, I think. Faramir is much more opened minded than his brother, that's how I interpeted it. Over all a very good story. What will happen to Faramir!?? You left us on a cliff hanger! Grrr, I hate those. Keep writing! Please!!!! | |

| Faramir is certainly in a difficult position here, and he makes the harder choice of striking off on his own. He could follow orders, after all, and that would be honorable too. I think that foresight must be a very troubling gift. | |
