Nine Lives  by Werecat 3 Review(s)

Ok, I couldn't stop reading after the horse story and I'm glad I didn't. I like the white cat. I think he will win in the end, and having read Erased (which I'm not certain you really intended to be a sequel to this, but I can see it as one), I think he did.

I really like your side of the Queen Beruthiel story and I definitely agree that history is written by the 'victor' and there is always another side. I like this one.

Author Reply: Hi again, Elliska.

The white kitten is written after my white fluffball Lugh. So I guess this qualifies as some kind of self insertion?

BTW, if you feel like reading one of these days, the last chapter of my Beruthiel saga is included in my story "Old Wives' Tales", which has cats as well, although slightly diffesrent from the other stories.

Once more, thanks a million times for all your reviews and your kind words.

Have I told you recently how much I adore this story?

No - I mean recently, like in the last hour or so?

Come and join us at the Drunken Elleth - Maedhros is buying.

Excellent explanations and insights!
Beruthiel definitely was more of a kindly person than folk gave her credit for.

Author Reply: Thanks for reading!

(I just found out that I can reply to the reviews).

I'm glad that you liked it. Yes, Beruthiel was greatly misunderstood. Black clothes with black cats around? Bare chambers with kitties running around?

This felt way too familiar.

Anyway, thanks again.
