| I found this fic after reading "Rubbing Shoulders with Nobility," only to find another lovely example of learning from our Elders. I love Sam's tenderheartedness and his father's kindness. I can't stop smiling! Your word pictures are so well done, and your last scene makes me wish to see the transplant garden. They remind me of the tiny, tiny white flowers that cover our country lawn in late spring, after the taller bluebonnets have gone to seed. A lovely, sweet picture! You have my thanks. | |
