Very detailed story...good job :)

Author Reply: Thank you! I enjoyed imagining what it would be like and writing out the details I came up with.

Gentle Hobbit, that was beautiful and sad. Sad, because we know that all this gentle, loving attention will not be enough to heal Frodo's wounds or even make them bearable. But the image is a beautiful and lasting one. You can imagine Sam and Merry and Pippin sitting wistfully together, after Frodo has gone over the Sea. 'Remember that day in Minas Tirith, in the bath house?' It is a comfort to them (and us).

Author Reply: I love that idea that that memory will serve as comfort for the three hobbits in the future. For you are quite right (of course) that this one day of comfort will not be enough for Frodo. And yet it too may give him a fond memory to take with him over the Sea.

Thank you.

*sniff* That choked me up and I'm not entirely sure why. I mean, it wasn't sad at all! Ah well, maybe I'm that much of a lover for hobbit friend-fluff lol. Gawd, I wish that I could have an afternoon just like that. Mmm that would be spectacular. I could almost feel the comb running across my own scalp; THAT'S how awesome the description was! Heh, it felt good lol. This just makes me want to go get my hair cut :P. Excellent story! Thank you so much for it!

Author Reply: Thank you so much for telling me how real the description felt. I tried my best to describe how I imagined it would feel, and chose my words carefully. You have let me know that I succeeded! Thanks again!

Oh! I love this story! I am sorry it's over! Could we have more, please? I'm am very ashamed I haven't reviewed before now but I have loved each chapter. Great job! I look forward to more from you in the future. Blessings!

Author Reply: I'm rather sorry it's over too, but I'm not sure at this point how it could be extended. Bath, massage, and haircut -- that just about covers it, I think! But I am glad that you enjoyed it so much. Thank you!

A very delightful story! I loved the idea of the hobbits giving massages (being a bit of a masseuse myself). I've never been very fond of Frodo, but it was nice to see him being given a little comfort. He did deserve it after all. Wonderful work.

Author Reply: I'm glad you enjoyed it. I am very fond of massages, both giving and receiving, and so a lot of personal experience went into the writing of that!

I hope that perhaps through this story, you might have come to like Frodo just a little more.

What a wonderful story. Frodo definitely deserves all the attention and love he receives from his friend and cousins.

It is wonderful to have somebody care and put your mind and body at ease.

Author Reply: Thank you! It is a special gift indeed to have friends who will embark on such "conspiracies"...

Aw, I really liked that chapter! Sheesh, I wish I had friends who would wash my hair for me...or a cousin who would massage my shoulders. Frodo certainly is one lucky hobbit!

Author Reply: He certainly is, although what he went through that left him in need of this therapy is not something I'd wish on anyone...

But I'm glad you enjoyed it. There is more to come...
