Hi Bryn, I was wondering, since you haven't updated in so long, is it safe to assume that you have died?
I certainly hope that is not the case. To say I enjoy your fanfiction is a vast understatement. Please update to let us all know that you are alive and well.

Please?

As a former science teacher, I found your research to be quite adequate.I do have a few questions for the reseach team, however.

During said research, did any members of your team become attached to this specimen? I have read many accounts of this phenomena occurring. Could this be pheromones?
More research into the mating rituals of this species may answer questions such as : "Why are peredhels able to reproduce, instead of being sterile hybrids?"
"Must said hyprid first choose a mortal life?",
or "What is the exact aging process of the eldar from conception to adult?"

Was the C+S method used throughout most of the research?

I understand that the eldar possess heightened strength and speed. Thus, did this "Haldir" cooperate or was it necessary to use a variety of methods in order to continue in your studies?

I mean, if one asked me politely to slice off my nose or to remove my molars, I would not exactly cooperate for advancements scientific research.

Finally, was this eldar released back into his environment with a tracking collar? If so, did he readily adapt to his surroundings or was he full of dispair and close to fading?

Again, Thank you to your fine reseach team....Many of my questions were answered and I look forward to further advancements in the sciences based on your findings.

An eager but amateur student such as myself is most grateful for the detailed and insightful reports the author has published in collaboration with the hard work of the field scientists. One wonders, however, if the focus on Telerius (sp.) is not somewhat biased? This student eagerly anticipates the conclusions to research into the sons of Elrond, but is forced to ask: will there be any experiments conducted on Noldorius (sp.) females, particularly those of partial Royal descent? (Indeed, if this has already taken place, will notes be shared with the public regarding the reactions of other beings to said experimentation? Particularly those closely involved with Noldorius (sp.) females).

The reviewer then requests that FedEx-M.E speedily see that research notes are exchanged with as much haste as possible in order for the next installment to be published. Self-taught students such as the reviewer are curious as to the studies conducted into half-Elves, and what the Mortal genetic traits found therein might produce.

PS. If and when the reviewer comes into some money, possibly by attempting to raid the hoards of K. Cavernous with a small party of hobbits (the technical term for which I do not know - a little help?) of the Took variety, a small donation will no doubt be winging its way to the bank account of the Scientific Research Department of Middle Earth. In the mean time, this penniless students wishes the blessing of the Valar on the scientists stuck in the field, and even more on those who face the wrath of fans whose favourite characters have been 'inadvertently dissected'.

wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! I love your so-very-accurate scientific papers on Elven physiology and genetics (which now make me regret not doing postgrad work after finishing my science degree). I had never thought of connecting telomeres with Elven immortality - and now I don't think I'll ever be able to read another genetics paper on aging or cancer without thinking how Elven chromosomes are different to humans.

Can't wait for the Twins!

Oh no...it's back. And now you're going after the twins! The horror! I am sadly drawn to read more of this horrendous report, so please continue soon.

Heh, 'Researchers did not attempt to grow a second head on the subject by removing the original one and splitting the body half, as it was deemed unnecessary and, quote, “a blatantly stupid idea.”'-oh that is rich. You come up with the cleverest things. I feel a bit sorry for Haldir, though.
