Very interesting. The tale of Turin Turambar is my favorite.

ElberethReviewed Chapter: 3 on 2/19/2004
These are all amazing, but I believe this is my favourite of them all. Thank you for sharing something so wonderful!

Wow, this is great! A very original idea; I liked the last chapter the best. Thanks for sharing this!

Author Reply: your welcome. this last chapter is my favorite too.

These were very evocative. I never would have thought to do these poem like pieces on the famous weapons and yet they are very fitting. After all, a culture that named its weapons would undoubtedly have sung of them and that's what you have done.

Author Reply: thanks. i loved the weapons importance--they were personal and their only defense.. I may do something about Grond, and breaking the gates of Minas Tirith if i get a chance

I've been reading through these thinking of how poetic they are in their compressed, allusive state, and then I came to this one about Gil-galad and found it so touching that I had to stop and tell you.

Author Reply: thanks. i like this one too, but my fav is the one about anduril.

EomerofEastfoldReviewed Chapter: 5 on 2/19/2004
Wow! Usually when people list off famous whatnots and such, the don't stop to think about poor Eomer. Thank you! That was great. :)

Author Reply: i noticed eomer's sword in the book--he is always leaning on it! i loved how tolkien provided the name and when i got the idea for this i had to include it.
