| Okay, with the chapters getting longer and longer, I can't remember the specific things that I wanted to point out that I really liked. *sigh* I always liked Eomer, but I am getting a big old crush on your Eomer. Bother Bother Bother PArdon me, I am going to go back to my reading now. Do you realize I have been reading this, nearly non-stop for three days? Yes I read slow, but I am that obsessed. | Another good chapter! I especially like the parallel development between E & F; he encourges her to express vunerable emotions, which Rohirric culture probably does not, and she encourages him to be more forthright in expressing his opinions, which his father definitely did not. Author Reply: To this I nod and look thoughtful because that was my idea...all..along, riiight... LOL, I just noticed it, thank you, I think I've used this "theme" before and I never really recognized it while writing this chapter, but yes, its very important! Good eye! :D | |

| This was a wonderful chapter! Well worth the wait from the last one -- though I must admit, it was difficult to wait a whole week. The story just keeps getting better and better. I am slightly nervous though regarding what Eomer and the Rohirrim have in store for Faramir. I guess he should enjoy his time with Eowyn now. I get the feeling, it would be quite a while before he gets near her again. Can't wait for the next chapter [but does it have to be another week? Not a complaint, just too eager to read more]. Also curious what you have in mind for Aragorn and Arwen. Author Reply: Complaint? Complaining I'm not updating soon enough because you WANT to read my story? That's not a complaint, it's a compliment!! :D Sorry about the wait, I had writer's block for 3 days straight until Eomer was kind enough to shove himself in front of Eowyn and Faramir, LOL, and get his POV in first. Anyway, Faramir's going to have more time with Eowyn, undoubtedly more than Eomer will like, but yes, there's going to be hell to pay. LOL, poor Faramir's going to have it rough for a bit, not only the men but his horse, too! More Aragorn and Arwen and some Aragorn/Eowyn, Arwen/Eowyn is planned, maybe not the next chapter, but soon. Man, I can't imagine reading this story...I can't wait until I'm done writing each chapter and the next is always just ahead! :D Hopefully before another week. | |

| Another amazing chapter! I don't know how you do it. As the page gets lower and lower and I know I am coming to the end of your latest post, I feel like my ice cream cone is ending. {Not to say that your stories are like ice cream but that it is a treat to read.} I run the risk of turning into a huge Faramir fangirl. {its probably already happened =)} Your characterisation of him is wonderful. Perfect! I love the way that Eowyn and Faramir communicate. I had read of the Gift in the book but did not pay much attention to it. You have realised its potential in your story and we all get to enjoy it. I don't want your story to end! Selfish am I not? Looking forward to many more adventures! Author Reply: Wow, that's a great compliment--I know that feeling, you just don't want it to end! Hehe, Faramir is amazingly amazing isn't he? I'm glad his abilities have come out like they have, too. It adds something to their relationship, deepens it. Well, we're not in the homestretch of this story yet, I can tell you that for sure...so don't worry, there are MANY more adventures. I don't want All for Her to end as well--what would I do then? ;) | |

| Ah, what a lovely chapter! I am checking your story for updates at a rate that cannot possibly be healthy. I very much liked your descriptions of Meduseld, and it's nice to see that Éowyn's finally warming up to Faramir for real. He deserves it; he's such a sweetheart, I can hardly bear it! *sigh* Éomer is being an ass, as usual, but I can understand that he's broken-hearted at the thought of "losing" his sister, even if he'd never admit it in so many words... Author Reply: If you think you're unhealthy try lying in bed at 5:30 am trying to figure out what happens next!! ;) Faramir is a sweetheart and Eomer is an ass. LOL. But, Eomer will admit it "in so many words, so to speak, when he and Faramir have a little bonding much later. I can't wait! It's a touching scene and I've had it in my head for soooo long. | |

| Another *long* chapter. :) I'm wondering now how things will work out at Theoden's funeral feast, when Eomer openly declares Faramir and Eowyn's betrothal. He seems somewhat comfortable with Faramir at the moment, but it doesn't seem like he's quite ready to give Eowyn up just yet either. It's great how you are showing us Eowyn and Eomer's thoughts regarding their family; few people seem to realize just how much both of them lost. Their mother, father, cousin, uncle; the only family they have left is each other. Though, when I think about it, I wonder where Theoden's other sisters are? And also if Eomund's parents where still alive, and if he had any siblings? They could have cousins, aunts, uncles, and possibly grandparents that no one has ever thought about because they're not mentioned in LotR. Author Reply: I'm going to cover the announcement, actually before and after mainly, lots of thoughts from the three POVs. Faramir's going to get a small inkling of something that will be important later and we'll have a Aragorn/Eowyn scene coming up that expands upon her remark to Aragorn about wishing her happiness--there's got to be reason for that, it's almost bitter sounding to me in the book and she's not bitter at the moment, so... Well, there's going to be a family member later, but I'm not sure exactly how i'll do it and if any are "introduced" during the funeral, because that's where they would logically be. I don't know, I have to think about it some more. :) | |

| Ah, lovely chapter! I like the descriptions of Eowyn's rooms, and how she preferred Faramir telling her what was wrong rather than letting her win. Eowyn's conversation with Merry was perfect, too. And do I sense that Arwen is going to be up to some mischief while Aragorn is away? I can't wait to find out what happens next! Author Reply: I thought Eowyn, like my conception of Eomer, doesn't like falsitude or lying--it's sneaky, like Grima. Bad memories there and she'd rather shout it out with Faramir than have him mollify her just to shut her up and keep the peace. The problem is, he's not a fighting person, can you imagine Denethor's reaction if poor Faramir spoke against him? I doubt he argued much with his idolized older brother, either, so he's a bit rusty. I want to show that Faramir's first reaction to almost any situation will never be violence-he's not naturally like that. And while Eomer's not a raging bull, he's more used to force. Eoywn's used to Eomer/Theodred directly confronting her and telling her what. They'll all have trouble understanding each other. :) I didn't really have Merry there in with her at first, he just jumped in and I liked it too--some comfort that took her back to Faramir. Arwen is not a pretty housewife without a thought in her head, she's a passionate, vivacious and mature elven woman who's not opposed to something new(i'm not telling, lol) and Eowyn and Eomer like her, so, yes, fun stuff happens....Basically, Arwen may not have done much more than support her man and sew a banner until now, but hey, she's still young... ;) | |

| I really enjoyed reading that and I can't wait until Faramir goes out with the boys. Faramir and Eomer's relationship reminds me a bit of John Wayne's character in "The Quiet Man" (an oldie but a goodie if you've never seen it) and his wife to be's brother does everything in his power to make the days leading to Sean (Wayne) and Mary Kate's (the sister) marriage, and a bit after, as difficult as possible. Of course, lets just say, that Sean wins his brother in law's respect and they become fast friends. I won't say how it happens because I'm hoping for a similar victory for Faramir, who Eowyn does believe to be a match for any man of the Mark! Great descriptions in this chapter. I could really see what Eowyn's room looked like; right down to the carvings. And the bedroom scene with Faramir was really sexy. I'm glad she's melting a little. Can't wait for more. :) Author Reply: I dont think I've ever seen any John Wayne movies, lol. Thanks about the descriptions, I was worried I took too much time on them, but if you liked them,then it was worth it! LOL, sexy...hehe, I know, I thought it was neat. Though, i'll tell you that was nothing to later chapters.... :D | |

| That was just wonderful - I've been going mad with impatience to see what would happen when Faramir got to Edoras, but that was worth the wait. I have a feeling this chapter is a sort of set-up for the plotlines that'll be important in the nextw hile (If I'm wrong, well, so be it). I am starting to worry about Éomer though - he seems a little unrelenting in his dislike of Faramir, something almost, well selfish about it. I mean of course I am willing to cut him a huge amount of slack - but if he loves Éowyn as much as he obviously does, it seems a little unfair of him to treat Faramir with such rudeness in front of her - especially as it's embarassing her as well. I know I'm rambling here - it's hard to say exactly what it is I mean I'm becoming increasingly hopeful that we'll see and Aragorn-Arwen fight - which may seem a little odd, but I've been itching for Aragorn to be taken down a peg or two in this story, and your Arwen definitely seems like the woman to do it. I think she could develop a very interesting friendship with Éowyn but my guess is that such a friendship is contingent upon two outside factors 1) Éowyn getting over her insecurity vis-a-vis her looks, and 2)some kind of breakthrough whereby Éowyn won't feel so dreadful about wanting Aragorn when he had Arwen (though for some reason I actually see that more likely to emerge from an Éowyn-Aragorn moment than an Éowyn-Arwen moment - I don't know why.) Anyway keep up the good work. Because this chapter especially was really, really good. Author Reply: It's hard for Eomer and I'll get to the exact reason later, along with many other things that explain his deep anxieties about her. Aragorn and Arwen--well, it's hard to describe because 1. I don't want to have them doubting each other and yet...Arwen keeps getting out of her "character" so to speak as being perfectly serene with her leaving her people, even though she clearly wasn't. It is hard to say exactly what I mean, you know? i guess i'll just have to show it the best i can later. 2. They're not perfect, no one in this story is and they will fight. Aragorn is going to come to terms with his "perfect woman" because she isn't perfect and she isn't going to sit there and be a wife. Like Eowyn, Arwen is not a doormat. These are both very strong females who have a lot in common. About Arwen/Eowyn friendship---has my muse been talking? ;) LOL, maybe you're just very perceptive. I can't wait to get to it. Arwen has two weeks alone with Eowyn in Edoras and then plenty of time with her in Minas Tirith. My story, ya'll, just to warn you ;) won't end with the F/E wedding, just like LotR didn't end with the ring's destruction. So brace yourselves, okay? :D | |
