Irrepressible Pippin  by PIppinfan1988 4 Review(s)

This was such a heart-warming tale, Pippinfan! I love your young Merry and Pippin, and how they help each other out even in their early youth.

I liked how you fleshed out the character of Mr. Breddo, and how you showed that even adult hobbits can do some growing and maturing.

Your description of Pippin's boredom during a nice, spring day rang true for me; it reminded me of when I had to take chemistry in college in the spring semester, and the lab portion of the class was held on Friday afternoon! That was pure torture, and I could just feel young Pippin's restlessness.

Nice job!

Nice job!

This was very good and lots of fun. I am glad the tutor turned out to be a nice old hobbit after all!

Author Reply: Good old Merry and Pippin are always full of charm and wit! No one can stay too peeved at them for long....

A very good beginning! Glad you continued it instead of ending at the one chapter. The tutor is a bit strict isn't he? I hope the lads have fun!

Author Reply: Thank you! Yeah, old Breddo is a bit of a...jerkwad in the beginning.

Oh, that's so cute! I love little Pippin stories; he's so adorable! I wish I could just jump out of the window at my school, but i would DEFINITELY hurt myself doing that.

Author Reply: Thank you, calenore! Me, too, about the little Pippin stories windows. My schools always had three levels to them! Actually, I find it's fun to write about them as children; their pranks and misbehavior are limitless! Thanks again.

Pippinfan

Author Reply: Gosh--one false move with the fingers and wham! An entire word is deleted! I did have the word 'and' between 'stories' AND 'windows'! :-)
