I love this story! It brings back memories of my kids bath time.

Mind you I didn't have swords, royal robes, crowns and thrones to contend with.

Thank goodness.

LOL! Hilarious story! I loved it, espcially that bit:

Nay, foul beast!" he shrieked, "I shall fight you to the death, evil bath-bringer! I am King now, and you," Legolas' voice dropped to a menacing whisper as he pointed the sword straight at his father, "are banished!"

You write little!Legolas so well, it's very well done in in the child's mindset, brimming with imagination.

Anyway I'd like to point out that Thranduil does not wear metal crowns (like Elrond and Galadriel) but his crowns are made with leaves (see 'The Hobbit')

Oh I love the naughty elfling Legolas so much! There are so many fics of the sweet, tender, angelical Little!Legolas, I love them also, but it's easy to get tired to read a lot of similar stories. And, who can say legolas must be a docile child just because he's a gentle adult? As I known, Wood-elves in Tolkein's world are joyful and prankish people, even adults. It's obviously that the Legolas in PJ's movie is deeper than the character in the book.

I cannot deny that I enjoy the indulgent father Thranduil much more than the strict one, especially when I see he vowed to punish his evil elfling but failed again and again.:D "'if Legolas happens to be extremely embarrassed by these stories during these festivals to come¡ Well, that would not be my fault, would it?'", well, King Thranduil, you are really good at making excuses.

I sincerely hope to let more fans have the chance to enjoy the lovely story, so can I get your permission for translating it into Chinese and showing it on bbs? Of course, I will indicate the original author and link markedly. I've translated daw the minstrel's "Mirkwood Series" and Theresa Green's "Legolas: The Owner's Guide and Maintenance Manual" into Chinese with their permissions, and I myself am a Tolkein's fic-writer, although I cannot write English quite correctly, I am sure I can translate it relevantly into my mother tongue.

I look forward to your reply. You can also connect me at: xiaoluren8007@hotmail.com

Wonderful. It was very amusing. I think Thanduil needs a rest...and a nice hot bath maybe. Hmm...

Hm, I prefer the original version that was up on ff, but it's still an adorable story. Welcome to Stories of Arda. :)
