| This made me smile with a tear in my eye... Your characterization of the two "brothers" was perfect (and a nice followup to several moments in ROTK) and Gimli's gentleness seemed very much in character. Good dialogue and clear images that I could picture as I read. | |

| I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Including the rock slide itself from Legolas's POV and then Gimli's desperation to rescue him would have been great, but the story the way it is written stands alone very well. It was so easy to feel Gimli's feelings of brotherhood toward Legolas and vise versa. I loved your description of that evolution. Those two are so good together. This was lovely. | |

| Great to see a new story from you and loved the fact that it used the sotry line from your earlier tale. Gimli is a delight and a great friend to our elf loved the interaction between the pair thank you Author Reply: Oh, I adore Gimli! He's so underappreciated that I felt I had to write a story primarily from his POV. I also have a plot bunny biting me for a reverse of this scenario, with Gimli being the injured one for a change. I have a few other things I want to finish first, though. | |
