| Excellent vignette, Kielle! I've been working on a genealogy of Tolkien's characters, so just recently read the Annals of Kings and Rulers and the Line of Elendil -- but your story turned some dry recounting of facts into something much more personal and real. Thank you! Author Reply: Thank you! That's exactly what I hoped, so you really made my day there. I've been putting together a spreadsheet of the various kings and such of the Third Age, to help keep my own facts straight, and it's really helping a lot -- seeing the various lifelines and reigns plotted out on paper makes me start wondering what happened, what they were like...
