| That was wonderful... i really enjoyed reading the second to last paragraph... "Never before in his life had Sam heard those words or sung that tune, and yet they came to him now as if he had always known them. This song was his heart’s own response to the Shadow before him and the Shadow that had almost pulled him under. He felt his blood begin to run hot and his determination harden as he sang those words as a challenge, and a promise, to all that lay around him." That's a cool place to look for a vignette for a character. Great job =) hanned le, ~Elentari Author Reply: I'm so glad you enjoyed the story! That moment on the stairs has always been powerful in my opinion and I really wanted to portray both Sam's despair and courage.
