| Fantastic! I love the oral tradition of songs and tales in LOTR -- I feel like it keeps people so much more connected somehow than our tv and email and Facebook and all the rest, even with all the advantages the technology brings. | This was a lovely gapfiller! I can't believe that hadn't read it already. Pip's song was beautiful, and I find myself wondering what the tune to it must sound like. :-) Did you ever write about Aragorn coming to the Shire when Pippin was invested as Thain? That would be a wonderful story too! Author Reply: Thank you so much! I loved writing this story, and I believe Pip's song was the first LOTR poem, song, or riddle I ever tried to write. I'm so pleased you enjoyed this. I've actually been toying with an idea recently about Aragorn visiting the Shire post-quest. I'm having hand surgery in a few weeks and won't be able to type, so I'll have lots of time to think. With luck, a wee story might come out of it. :) | |

| Awww! I don't want it to be over! LOL! What an adventure, and I love the fluff! It's a good thing only three hobbits quaffed too much wine and that one was too wise. :-) But, Shirebound, that song was absolutely wonderful!!! | I've read this story a number of times and I'm ashamed I haven't reviewed before. It's sweet, touching and funny. I especially loved this line: "At no point in our confrontation do I recall Sauron breaking into song," Aragorn groaned. You handled the delivery of the song and the reaction very well, making it moving but without being sentimental. I enjoyed the story very much. Author Reply: Thank you so much! | That was unbelievably CUTE! I loved the poem, and how all these honoured characters are constantly joking with each other over their experiences, as hobbits would. I've been reading your stories more than once and I could read them again!! I love this one too!! I find it especially sweet... Glad you liked this one! There isn't currently a sequel to "Cormallen", but I sure enjoyed writing this. That Pippin can really come up with some unexpectedly wonderful moments. According to this site, here's how to sign up for author alerts: 1. You need to "Become a Member" first, and get a password. 2. "You can create an author notification for any author you like. First, login to the site. If you are an author, click on the Reader link in the top navigation bar; otherwise, you should be in the right place.
