Cute story, gave a nice little relationship between Faramir and Pippin. Two of my favorite characters and very well written. Kept my interest for what was coming next, and I loved the ending. It was almost eerily insightful, very neat! Great story.

Author Reply: Thank you, I always found the relationship between the two them interesting too. I'm very glad you enjoyed this. :)

My son is diabetic and has low-blood-sugar reactions. This one struck home with me as I have been in Faramir's situation many times. The story is very well done and very realistic. The candle explaination that Faramir gives Pippin is wonderful.

Author Reply: Thank you, I try to make my stories as realistic as possible. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks too for reviewing.

I remember this fic! I'm so glad you posted it here. Coriandra, your writing is so insightful when it comes to emotional healing and the importance of supportive friends.

I do love this:

"Faramir could feel his eyes misting up, but in a good way. It was heartening to know that his brother's last days made a difference in another life."

Author Reply: Actually I had some hesitation about posting it here. It was my first attempt at writing a fan fiction story but obvious people like it. Thank you for you feedback, it means a lot to me. *smiles.*

Hypoglycemia is something that runs in my family and I was the one to get stuck with it in my generation. Your descriptions of how Pippin feels mirror how I have felt when I don't eat when or what I ought to, a difficult thing to put into words. The conversation between Faramir and Pippin is beautiful - in canon Pippin named his son for him, Faramir must have made quite an impression on him. All in all a wonderful tale.

Author Reply: Thank you it's good to know the story was accurate. And you're right about Pippin and Faramir. Even though there isn't much interaction between them in the book, I never doubted that Faramir was special to Pippin.

I'm glad you enjoyed the story, thanks for reviewing it.
