| This is one of my favorite poems. I usually see attributed to "anonymous," though, so it was interesting to see it finally credited to a real person. It has a lot of meaning for me; I read it at my grandmother's funeral three years ago. I think it is very poignant when used in this situation. Poor Legolas, having to watch all of his best friends die and knowing he'll never see them again. Very touching story. |
