Again, very nice. It's clear from the very beginning of this part that the species of the smith is different; I like how you differentiate the thinking patterns between Dwarf and Elf. There is more song in this story, and more of a sense that the sword is being made especially for one particular person. Yet the love for good metal still shines down through the ages. This is a great tale, and I'm glad I read it. |

Oh, yes, very nice indeed. You know your stuff about swordmaking. I was reading along, going with the flow, and when I got to the word 'tang,' I knew life would be good. The mysticism of the forge, that personal relationship with Her, it's wonderfully drawn. A lovely story of Dwarven spirituality. |
