Do you happen to know where one can find "Son of Drogo?"

I've found several references to this (and other stories) which no longer seem to exist anywhere. As if several authors decided to take away stories all at once. It's crazy frustrating as they sound amazing. I feel like I'm missing out.

In any case, I will continue with the rest of your story. It's good so far.

I like what you've done with this because I think it better captures Frodo's likely feelings about having a true kindred spirit with whom to be in his experiences. You've neatly gotten aroundthe problems that too many fics have of leaving him unsupported as was, effectively the case in ROTK.
I look forward to more of this story.....

OOOOoooo! a mysterious kind of cliffhanger! Well, you've got me hooked. There's nothing I love so much as my hero in bed with Sam fussing over him. Love this story! Thanks for all your work, and I'm looking forward to the next chapter! Happy typing, and please toss in all the h/c you think will fit.

Thanks again for a great story,

esamen

I really wanted to tell you that I am very touched by your story. I love Frodo, but it's always been hard to comprehend what he must have felt after the Ring. I know different people have given their perspectives, but I really like the way your portray his sorrow. And I love the way you have incorporated this new character into his life. I think that the only way Frodo can heal of his own pain is to pour himself into another. He was always the type that strived to help others, despite what it cost him. Please update soon! I can't wait to see where else this story will go!

Thank You. What a stunning concept...'black Elves'. I am amazed by the creativity of the stories in this site. One can barely imagine what sort of trauma Frodo suffered. I sure hope I get to read all of this novella.

Author Reply: Thanks so much! This is one of my personal favorites of my stories. It's a bit AU but I ttry not to lose the 'canon' feel for the original.

Since Sauron imprisoned many in Mordor including elves I thought it would be interesting to see what they might be like once they were freed. And since Frodo had that 'elvish air' about him even before the quest it seemed logical that only a damaged elf would have real understanding of what Frodo has suffered.

I hope to continue on this story soon. I just addded the 'Challenge' chapter, Respite or chapter 4, that Marigold wanted us to keep on hold till she got to post all the challenge stories.
