| This is a very moving story. These are two of my favorite characters and I love what you are doing with this. I have read other stories about the aftermath of the battle, but the relationships in yours ring very true. I am looking forward to the next chapter so I will read on. | |

| Oh, this is wonderful! "Then his questing fingers found fabric, a sleeve; he reached further and discovered a small hand. Taking it in his own, he felt the small fingers twitch as he closed his hand around them." What an amazingly detailed perspective to be taking on this oh-too-brief part of the book. Author Reply: My, high praise coming from one of my favourite authors, whose detailed perspectives I am on occasion found to inhale greedily (usually when there are a few moments of quiet around here.
