Cottoncrow's Cry  by Ophium 6 Review(s)

Ahhhhhhhh Elves are not evil! I wonder who it was that Legolas saw. Perhaps he saw a future vision of Arwen. He could feel her great sadness. And he saw her mithril necklace. Only a very wealthy woman would have a necklace of such a precious metal. And being a queen, Arwen would count as a "very wealthy woman". Or maybe he saw "The Mother". Who is "the Mother"? Is she David's wife, or is she a spiritual mother like the Virgin Mary? We'll see.

On to Chapter 4!

Gimli did not discuss Legolas’ claims about the history of these stones, for his friend was like a living book, who could tell of ancient times not as he had read them, but has he had lived them.
I loved this line about Legolas from Gimli. Very good. So sad for all of them when the father killed his own son. I can't imagine what they will do now. I am wondering if Gimli will go with these men without a fight.

Ah boy.........poor Legolas. Bad luck doesn't get much worse than that. :-(

*tsk tsk* What a dilemma. I'm very curious to see how you get them out of this one!

I absolutely LOVE your story!!!! I was hoping that it would be more current than your version at FF.net, but seeing as its not, and I can review here, I'll leave a review.
What is going to happen!!! I really hope that you won't kill Legolas. Will he be able to find some cure to help the inflicted? Will he send Gimli to Gondor for help? Will either of them become inflicted as well?
PLEASE update soon!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!
