| Cottoncrow seems sort of like a Utopia. And then this plague sets in and affects everything. I don't like Samuel and right now that part about him being able to see ahead seems a little fake. But we'll see. And I sort of want to shake him and say, "Elves are not evil!!!!" But I can understand their veiwpoint since they lived under Caranthir for a while. Now on to Chapter 2! | |

| Hey, I remember this story! I like the changes you've made. The logic of the plot flows a lot more smoothly now, and it makes your writing style much more enjoyable. There are two minor points to clear up before you continue. The first is that Caranthir, the cruellest of Fëanor’s sons, had fell upon the Men should read, "Caranthir, the cruellest of Fëanor's sons, had fallen upon the Men." The second is that Their costumers and friends should probably be "Their customers and friends." Other than that, this story is much improved, and I can't wait to read the rest of it. | |

| I am very excited about this fic! The opening chapter really set the scene and injected a fair amount of tension. I'm non-too happy about these tales of evil elves and the treatment of Legolas and Gimli... lots of angst and I *love* it! Please... UPDATE SOON! | |
