| What a surprising combination of characters here. I don't believe I've ever seen an Eomer/Pippin fic. This was nicely done and very true to the characters. Thanks for the lovely read. | What a treat to read an Eomer/Pippin scene! This dialogue is wonderful, very true to Tolkien. The words Eomer chose to describe Frodo and Sam's journey are simple and perfect. Author Reply: Thank you! Yes, between feeling a tad awkward at giving news he maybe shouldn't and being the plain spoken warrior that he is, a 'report' style description seemed to make sense. And it's exactly what Pippin wanted to hear. Glad it worked for you:) | |
