| Hadn't ever thought about that sort of thing happening. I was suprized that Merry would do that expically to Pippin!! but it did make scence, what Pippin had said about it being the ring. I really liked this!! | |

| Well done!! It spooked me out to think of Merry deliberately "running through" Pippin, but I can see how the Ring might have had that kind of effect if it had wanted to. | |

| This is great! The ring always seems to get to Merry in stories, but this story seems to be like the most 'realistic' if you take my meaning. I had a feeling Merry was going to stab Pippin and when he did, I was still shocked! I'm in awe of this story...wonderful job! | |

| WOW! I just loved that! I never really thought about the ring having power over the Hobbits, and definately never thought that Merry could ever harm Pippin. That's why I loved your story soooo much, it made me think "what if" Very unique and very well written. Well done! | |

| Oh, very clever, sister. The Prof didn't really discuss what effect the Ring had on many of the members of the Fellowship. I must admit it was quite frightening to see Cousin Merry hurt our dear little brother, but that Ring can do strange things to people. Great work! | |

| This is amazing! I never thought about this sort of thing. I guess I assumed that the ring didn't get to anyone but Boromir before Frodo and Sam took off. This is very good and an area that I don't believe anyone has touched upon. If they did, I missed it. I felt so awful for Merry and for Pippin! Strider handled it so well. Love it! | |
