| I enjoyed this story a lot. I like seeing young Merry without Pippin sometimes, it allows him to be the small child for a change. I had one comment/question though. You stated that Bilbo's parents got engaged in 1308. Is this a revised timeline for your stories? According to Tolkien, Bilbo was born in 1290. Author Reply: Thanks so much for your comments! You're right, that was a mistake on my part regarding the date. A typo made in revision or just an error, I'm not sure -- but thanks for pointing it out! It's been fixed now. :) | |
