| This story had a very nice feel to it -- horror interspersed with action very well, but also some good character development for Aragorn. And you made me feel for Mallor surprisingly well considering how I only knew him for a few pages. |

Author Reply: Sorry this is so late, I only just discovered the Reply to Reviews function... this story was a response to a challenge to write about the scarier side of Middle-Earth, and is a one-off that won't be continued. I did enjoy writing about young Aragorn very much, and may well write another of his adventures in the future. |

| This was a gripping tale, well written with great characterizations. And it functions so well as a gap filler, taking up a piece of canon and seeing what can be made with it. Lovely job. |
