| OH THANK YOU!!!! I was so sad when Ecthelion went away and I thought I would never see som of my fave stories ever again, this being one of them! But it's HERE!!!! I'm so glad! I hope you update with newer chapters soon!!! Author Reply: LOL! Suilad Unurith! Yes, I was also so very sad that Ecthelion was removed, but I agreed with Maggie's decision and respect it. I run two gaming fiction fansites and it is a great deal of work (of which took away my LOTR writing time). I also owe her a great deal - allowing me to post there when I could. | oh, wow! This story rocks!! (are you basing a lot of the previous friendship betwwen aragorn & legolas on Cassia & Siobhan's Mellon Chronicles? I think i cought a few references, but i'm not sure . . . ) your writing is wonderful, the little outakes-scenes that we never hear much of (the fellowship's interactions during their journey - Ie, Boromir & legolas conversation) are wonderful. I love this story! Keep it up, and post soon, please?? Author Reply: For the first question, yes, I am. Being a huge fan of the Mellon Chronicles Website, I had to write something for it, and posted Departures on their site originally. I also began an older adventure (which I am remiss at finishing) which also uses their characters and happenings in the earlier relationship between our fav Ranger and Elf. If I can drag it back out, I'll more than likely post it here. I'm glad you enjoy the out-takes. There are some references in Tolkien's work, but not nearly enough for me.
